This project breathes new life into a traditional timber-framed structure by transforming it into a contemporary tea house and cultural retail space. The design employs a "building-within-a-building" strategy, inserting a lightweight cyan steel framework into the historic shell to create a functional mezzanine. This bold color contrast clearly distinguishes the modern intervention from the weathered textures of the original architecture.

The ground floor functions as an open-plan "Fine Goods" market and tea preparation area, while the upper level provides a cozy social space for customers. By blending industrial materials like corrugated metal and neon signage with traditional bamboo weaving, the project redefines heritage through a modern lens. Now fully operational, the pavilion serves as a successful model for urban micro-renovation and commercial vitality.
